Join us on an impressive journey as we travel through four countries full of sights that bring to mind the great moments in European history. We'll take in the art, architecture and culture of some of Europe's most classic cities. Our journey combines bicycling with river cruising aboard a luxurious ship on the famed Blue Danube.

The Danube River - Connecting nine countries from the Black Forest to the Black Sea, the Danube is Europe's second longest river and the most historic. Gothic cathedrals, lush vineyards, medieval villages, plush golden palaces, and refined capital cities line its banks.

Germany – Bavaria is the largest federal state (Bundesland) in Germany and a land of sweeping alpine views, melodic meadows, friendly locals, towering castles, frolicking forests, and lots and lots of beer.

Austria – At the crossroads of Europe, Austria is a country of tremendous natural beauty and a refined culture comprising a mixture of influences from neighbors who at one time all made up the same empire.

Slovakia – Caves, canyons, the Carpathians, and the highest number of castles and chateaux per capita, Slovakia is an attractive country with a vivid history and plentiful opportunities for relaxation and leisure pursuits.

DanubeHungary – With strikingly beautiful Budapest as its heart, Hungary is rife with charming small villages, vibrant culture, hidden gems and diverse outdoor destinations of low mountains, rivers, and lakes, as well a well-developed spa and thermal spring culture.

Cuisine: The on-board chef will delight you with his preparations of classic dishes and culinary delights reflecting the various regions. Fine meals will be served daily in the magnificent dining room, including a gourmet lunch and dinner.
